The powerful, two-ply Mylar® sheets from REMO Emperor® produce a voluminous and warm sound with strong projection.

At the same time, they are particularly stable and durable due to their construction.

In the 1950s, rock 'n' roll came along and the first REMO® heads made it possible to play louder than ever before. But the development continued, guitar amps got bigger and drummers wanted to play even harder and louder. It was time for the next innovation and so the Californian innovators designed the first double-ply drumhead.

REMO® Emperor® heads are ideal for medium to loud playing styles, both live and in the studio. They fit especially well with musical styles such as pop, funk, rock and heavy rock, and are among the best marching drum heads in the world.
